HALT Fire’s April 2026 acquisition of GreenFire marks the pivotal next chapter — unifying the leading PFAS-free consumer fire safety brand with the most rigorously certified industrial firefighting foam on the market. Together, HALT now serves consumers at home, fire departments in the field, contractors on job sites, and industrial operators in the most demanding environments on earth.

First NSF Registration for Food-Safe Fire Protection
GreenFire® obtains the first NSF Registration Mark for a food-safe fire protection product as a wetting agent — confirming the formula is safe around food processing equipment and food preparation surfaces.
Multi-Class Patent Secured
GreenFire® obtains a Multi-Class A/B Wetting Agent Firefighting Foam patent — cementing the proprietary PFAS-free formula as the leading technology for structure, wildland, and vehicle fire suppression.
UL Certification & ASTM E84 Ratings
GreenFire® obtains Multi-Class Foam Wetting Agent UL Certification. GreenFire Pro Defense obtains ASTM E84 rating. GreenFire® also obtains ASTM E84 Class 1(A) rating — meeting the highest standards in fire safety and building materials.
HALT! Consumer Products Formed
HALT! Fire consumer products are formed using the GreenFire® formula — bringing proven PFAS-free fire suppression technology into the home as a safer & more effective solution for everyday consumers.
HALT! Industrial Formed & National Consumer Expansion
HALT! Industrial is officially formed — combining HALT!'s sales and commercial operations with the science and expertise of the GreenFire® formula. HALT! Fire home extinguishers and fire blankets expand nationwide across grocery, military, drug, and Amazon channels simultaneously.
HALT Fire Acquires GreenFire® — One Unified Platform
In April 2026, HALT Fire (Prime Safety US Inc.) officially acquires Fire Suppression Innovations Inc. (GreenFire®), announced via PR Newswire.
